Luke 6:17-26

Jesus is preaching here, to his disciples, and he notes that blessedness doesn’t look like we assume it does. He admonishes them to work for that which lasts, not popularity or wealth or pleasure, but relationship with God, comfort from God, and love and treasure stored up in heaven.
