As I made my way around town on this gorgeous fall evening before the rain/snow comes I saw multiple examples of God Winks and affirmations of why I love my community!  Everyone smiled and waved as I saw:
-dad and young daughter on tractor together doing yard work.  Her smile was huge as she was riding up high with dad!
-elderly man repairing his deck while his wife stands by his side
-mom and daughter on their evening run, laughing together
-our renter chopping down overgrown trees/bushes that we have not been able to take care of due to medical issues and time.
-2 teenage sisters playing volleyball in the yard, talking kindly to get other
-3 boys on their bikes getting the mail for mom

The doorbell rings and this beautiful smile makes my day. All summer this happened once or twice a week with bags of tomatoes and armfuls of cucumbers! The blessings of neighbors!

A son of the congregation milling wood for a mantle to be used for a fireplace! The wood was a free gift! And it came from the land of a family the recipient has known for years. Black walnut! What a blessing. It will bless the home of the recipient for many years.
